Meditating is hard

I'm a spiritual person. I practice mindfulness and meditation with an online community. Aside from a lazy day, you can practice with the community every morning and evening of the week. It's a flexible and great opportunity that I feel grateful for.

I have been part of the community for three years. I facilitate regularly and help sweep the path for others to walk with ease. However, I have barely practiced since the birth of my daughter. I'm aware that my schedule has changed as well as the available time and energy at my disposal. But I could squeeze in more time on the cushion if I really wanted to, and yet I'm not. I don't why, but that's the reason I'm writing this post; it's a starting point.

Within my spiritual tradition, it's emphasized that we should practice in such a way that we enjoy the practice. If it isn't joyful, you're not doing it right. That being said, you still need to be fierce and diligent with your practice. When I practice, it's joyful. Always. But it feels like their isn't space for my spiritual practice these days, neither physically nor mentally. With the birth of my daughter, my mind is drifting more and we no longer have the luxury of a room dedicated to only yoga and meditation. I think my spiritual practice feels homeless in a way. How do I stay diligent and anchor my spiritual practice in my current circumstances?
